Don't think, just watch

Yeah right... Don't think, just watch. That's the last thing I wanna tell myself. Just watch the movie. It's just a MOVIE. Those armoured bears aren't real, there are no daemons... By the way, Samoyeds, Gyptians, Gobblers are nice names. And oh... there's one Serafina Pekkala (I think that's how her name was spelt), a witch? And... the "intercision" process to separate little kids from their daemons. Oh well... Can't blame the film makers nowadays. Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lord of the Rings... Who knows what else comes next.

*Eyes rolling*

Yeah, I'm talking about The Golden Compass.

*Gasp*

Some says it's an evil movie because it promotes atheism. Hmmm... I got no comment about this. After watching this movie, I'm glad I'm a human & my soul is within me & I still believe that God has created me with a soul & a spirit WITHIN me. That settles the problem, if there is any, by the way.

Then, the movie ended with the bright prospect of a sequel. Sequel? Errr... I DON'T want to watch CGI-ed polar bears fighting :( And the way the Samoyeds threw all those hooks or something to catch the giant bear, Iorek Byrnison reminded me of how Bumblebee in Transformers was captured. Owww.... I dreaded to watch these kind of scenes! Basically, I dreaded to watch scenes that touch human relationships because it chokes me, especially stories about sacrifices due to love, to whatever human sentiments. Urghhh!

*Taking a deep breath... It's just a movie, Joyce*

OK!

Then, after the movie ended, I walked all the way from GSC, MidValley to the very ground floor. You know how far was that? I almost reached my car when I found out my car keys were NOT in my handbag! OMG! So, it was past 1:10am, I was wearing high heels and a slightly above knee-length skirt, and I have to "limp" ALL the way back to hall number 11 to find my car keys. WTF. Thank God I got the keys back, dragged my aching feet from 5th floor to LG, to my car, and get the hell out of MV. Reached home around 1:45am, I guess. I didn't speed, I drove within speed limit.

I think I spent hundreds of calories after this "exercise regime." Well, that compensates the Beef Bolognese Pasta, Gratin Mussels, and Vanilla Mille Crepe that I have at Food Foundry for dinner. Haha...

Current mode: Exhausted.
