Well... To tell the truth, I've never played Street Fighter's video game, but at least I've seen people playing it; I've never read its manga version; I've never watched its anime... Weirdo huh?So, Chun-Li is a stranger to me and I don't have much expectations about this movie - Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li. Cast bios here.
Hmmm... I think, the most impressive thing that I'd remember from watching this movie was the penetrative gaze of Neal McDonough's icy blue eyes. McDonough is Bison, the head of Shadaloo. He's really, really wicked.
One more thing, why Kristin Kreuk as Chun-Li? Because she's half Chinese? According to Wikipedia, Kristin's mother is of Chinese descent. Put this factor aside and watch her action scenes. Not bad. I'm not sure whether she did all those stunts on her own or was it her stunt double.
Robin Shou is Gen. Errr... Pairing up Robin & Kristin as master & student is weird. :S
So, this is the first movie I watched during my virgin visit to GSC Pavilion.
P/S: By the way, how much was the ticket again? Don't let your boyfriend paid for it laaa... Yeah, Celia, I'm talking to you. ;)
