Fast & Furious 4

Vroooooooooommmm!

I know there were FF1, 2, 3 and there's 4. And so, I watched FF4.

Vin Diesel, as Dom Toretto, is still as tough as ever - botak, muscular, mean, almost violent but he's definitely NOT heartless. Dom sought for revenge when he knew that Braga was behind the murder of Letty, his girlfriend but when he confronted Braga, he spared his life and asked Brian to bring him back to the US from Mexico.

In fact, this movie has a lot of mean-looking men, including Fenix Rise, the man who murdered Letty. He got this stare that could make your blood curdle in fear. But then, I think Brian (Paul Walker) looks odd in this movie - too soft-spoken. Or may be I'm just being bias because I thought all drivers who drive-n-drift like that usually has some kind of trademark look. Akakakaka!

The best lines I like from the movie:

Campos (Braga): You two know each other?

*Silence*

Dom: He (referring to Brian) used to date my sister.

Campos (speaking to Brian): Oh, you're one lucky man.

*All three men looked at each other and Campos continued*

Campos: Because you're still breathing.

Dom then gave some kind of snickering smile. Very funny.

Overall, not a bad movie, unexpectedly. The car kejar-mengejar scenes really made my heart raced and I found myself covering my eyes whenever some of those car crashed! Ouch!

:P

  2. Did you know that Fast & Furious still has a high share of all conversations about movies, but its share of negative and positive conversations is medium? Comparatively, Fast & Furious has a disproportionate amount of neutral conversations.
