Here's dinner with my sister - our virgin visit to The Bee. :)

We love our Bacon & Quail Egg Salad. The amount of grilled beef bacon and salad leaves are fantastic. One suggestion though: There should be more than four halves of quail eggs (only two whole eggs)! Or, is it because you guys are helping us to keep our cholesterol level in check? ;)

For our main meal, we choose the Bee Burger because we like the idea of house-made.

Oh... here comes the normal-sized burger served with a mountain of fries. I'm not really a fan of fries. Too bad, all their burgers are served with fries. :S I wonder if it's possible to substitute the fries with something else, perhaps coleslaw or fresh fruit salad.

The beef patty, made from real beef, is juicy and succulent; definitely not made from frozen prepacked patties. A slice of beef bacon and melted cheese covers the top of the patty.

Overall, dining experience is considerably satisfying. The bill comes to about RM42 (including a glass of iced house-made lemonade and 10% service charge).

  1. You can actually ask to exchange the fries for salad. :-) Also, I personally think thick cut fries are better than shoestring fries. ;-)

  2. Ooo! Flo!

Thanks for the tips! I'd really love to exchange the fries for salad. Feel less guilty for less carbs too. :P

Do they have thick cut fries too?

Next burger that I wanna try is their Chicken Avocado Burger (from Min Chow's twitpic)

    :D

  3. No, they don't have thick cut fries. It would be better than shoestring. ;-) I suggested that, but dunno if they'll pick it up. Heh heh heh.

Chicken Avocado is nice, too! I also like their Hawaiian burger.
