I eat in Penang

Penang or Pulau Pinang, also known as The Pearl of the Orient, is extremely famous among Malaysians for its wide variety of hawker food.

I'm in Penang this weekend (4-5 July 2009) to attend a church friend's wedding-thanksgiving meeting at our church's meeting hall on Sunday, 5 July 2009. After spending 4 hours on the bus from Kuala Lumpur to Penang with 3 gal pals, the rest of our Saturday's spent with stuffing ourselves with food.

Lunch and dinner at Lorong Selamat, Penang

Char Kuey Teow
Look at the 3 BIG prawns.

Penang Laksa
Laksa is always best eaten in Penang, I don't know why. :P

Chee Cheong Fun
You can find this in KL too. In fact, you can find any local Penang delicacies in KL. The difference - the taste.

Popiah
Don't really like this, too wet.

Oyster Omelette
Slightly spicy with lots of juicy little oysters that burst in your mouth when you bite into them. :P

Grilled Stingray
Well, not the best. I've tasted better ones in KL. :)

Loh Bak
Appetizer. I like this.

Satay
Eat for fun.
