Bring your little ones to "TGV Cinemas Family Friendly" sessions!

Guess what? I'm so happy to find that TGV Cinemas is organizing family-centric activities recently. Before I gave birth to my son, I was an avid cinema-goer. I was a movie addict. I went to the cinema on a weekly basis, that was averagely 4-5 movies per month. I never missed any blockbuster movie.

Then, the baby came and my days of going to the cinema ended. THE END.

Yeah, it has been "The End" for the past 20.5 months.

I missed so many movies. Sobs.

End of last year (December 2014), TGV Cinemas organized Disney's FROZEN Sing-A-Long. I brought my little tot along. It was his first big screen experience. He loved it.

But I haven't brought him to another cinema session since then.....

.....until I heard that TGV Cinemas is launching "Family Friendly" sessions exclusively for parents who wish to introduce the cinema world to their kids starting end of this month!

The cinema hall lights will be dimmed and volume will be lowered just to ensure that our little ones are comfortable during the movie. For parents with babies, fret not! There will be a diaper changing table set up inside the hall.

This is indeed a golden opportunity for parents to sit back, relax and enjoy the movie with the kiddos!

For more info about upcoming family-friendly sessions, please check out TGV Cinemas.

To be honest, I can't wait! :D

Disney's FROZEN Sing-A-Long at TGV Cinemas (4-28 December 2014)

This is an important public service announcement! :)

Do you remember Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf the Snowman, and Sven the Reindeer? Do you sing "Let It Go" all the time when you're in the shower? Yes, you do! At least, I do! Well, not the singing part. :P

Anyway, here's the important bit!

Disney's FROZEN Sing-A-Long will be screened in selected TGV Cinemas* from 4 till 28 December 2014!

What's a Sing-A-Long? It means you get to watch the movie and during the singing scenes, you get to sing out loud like how you do it in a karaoke room. Now, you get to sing with so many people in a huge cinema hall. You get to sing as loud as you want! The lyrics are shown on-screen and you don't need to memorize a single word! Don't be shy!

Now you tell me, don't you want to grab a ticket or two or more now?

* To watch Disney's FROZEN Sing-A-Long (only within the two weeks of 4-28 December 2014), buy your tickets at these TGV Cinemas - 1Utama, Sunway Pyramid, Wangsa Walk, Encorp Strand, Cheras Sentral, Bukit Indah, and Gurney Paragon.

I attended the Sing-A-Long's premiere session by TGV Cinemas yesterday. Guess what? It was AH-MA-ZING! More than 200 adults and their children (most little girls are dressed up as Elsa) were present! The pre-screening activities included photography sessions with the character Elsa, make-up demo, art & craft, etc.

The choir team sang "Let It Go" before premiere started.
Snowflakes!!!

We were "snowed" with snowflakes at one point of the sing-a-long. Oh my! The kids were squealing in delight!

My toddler watched intently, humming and swaying along.

See the lyrics? A bouncing snowflake will be guiding you over the on-screen lyrics when it comes to the songs scenes. My favorite song? Definitely, "Let It Go"

Let it go.... let it go...

TGV Cinemas launched TGV CLUB on 18 Jan 2012

TGV Cinemas proudly announces that 18 January 2012 marks another celebrated milestone as this auspicious date signals the official launch of TGV CLUB - their very own exclusive, premier experience for moviegoers!

As part of the celebration at TGV Sunway Pyramid, we are treated to the premiere of the movie Underworld: Awakening, of which I'll blog separately. Here's the review.

There are two movie halls, i.e. CLUB 1 and CLUB 2. There is also an exclusive CLUB lounge that serves their signature food and beverage menu. This is indeed a good place to chillax with your loved one and friends while you purchase delicious stuff from their menu. The nachos are pretty good!

According to Shen, TGV Cinemas' Brand Manager, a tin of this Popcorn Royale is priced at RM29. We are given samples and I must admit they are really delicious!

The CLUB halls have plush, luxurious seats with ample of legroom. There's a tray with plenty of space for food and beverage to the left of each seat.

And, our takeaway gift is this humongous TGV Cinemas Ah Beng TUMBO.

Thanks TGV Cinemas for this awesome experience!
