Movie: Avatar (2009)

James Cameron's science-fiction epic movie, Avatar, is excellently amazing! So I WON'T provide spoilers here. :)

All I want to convey is how breathtaking this movie is, even in 2D.

Where?
Pandora, a very beautiful, serene, yet dangerously primitive planet with lush rainforest and dangerous wildlife.

What happened?
1. Human colonists from the Earth (Sky People) and the Na'vi (tall, blue-skinned natives of Pandora) are engaged in a war over the planet's resources, mainly for unobtainium.

2. AVATAR is a program that allows humans to control their own avatars - genetically engineered human-Na'vi hybrids, thus overcoming the problem of breathing Pandora air that's toxic to human beings while still able to connect with the real Na'vis.
Okay, that's all I want to say.

I was basically sitting in an emotional roller-coaster for 2 hours and 45 minutes and my heart was beating furiously during the whole screening duration, or at least 70% of it as I gave my fullest attention to every single detail of the movie. I was so emotionally drained after watching it.

Why? For those of you who value lifetime bonding between living beings and qualities that are highly sought after such as loyalty, integrity, unity, responsibility, accountability, sacrificing oneself for the sake of a bigger and better cause, and trust; every single scene that involves Jake Sully (human-Na'vi hybrid warrior) and the Na'vis, especially the Omaticaya tribe is an embodiment of what I just elaborated in the sentence above.

Finally, this tagline, "I See You" still sends shivers down my spine. What do you see?

"I See You" (Leona Lewis)

Highly recommended. Watch it in either 2D or 3D or even both. I promise you'll never regret it.

It's just so mind-blowing! And, believe me, I'm not being dramatic.
