Nyonya food at Melaka Street Restaurant, SS2

I love petai when I've my first sambal udang petai a few years back. It's indeed "love at first sight". Haha...

A friend, mother of a 17-year old son brought me to Melaka Street Restaurant at SS2 after church meeting to satisfy my "kempunan" for petai. :D

Nice restaurant with good food, but a bit too oily. Health-conscious persons like me won't wanna come here too often.

Petai Fried Rice (RM7.90)
This is my lunch. Hmmm... A bit too oily for me. I only like the petais anyway. The portion is okay for lunch but I won't recommend such an oily meal for dinner after 7pm.

Nyonya Fried Rice (RM7.90)
My church friend's lunch. She commented that the portion is a bit too large. Usually she won't take so much rice.

Nyonya Brinjal (RM11)
Again... oily. The brinjals are slightly fried to preserve the purplish color and texture of the skin.

Melaka Street Ais Kacang (RM4.50)
This is my dessert. Its portion is just nice with satisfactory amount of hidden treasure beneath the ice. Not too sweet. I tasted santan so in the end, I decided not to finish the whole thing.

Melaka Street Cendol (RM4.50)
My church friend commented that the ingredients are not that satisfactory to her palate. So, she also didn't finish her dessert.
