The JuJuBe Midi Backpack is an affordable, durable, super adorable mid-sized structured backpack. Its attractive versatile design comes with adjustable straps, five pocket stash-capacity, and two elasticized bottle pockets.

What Did I Pack for My Daycare Hospitalization?

Here's the list of the stuff that I packed for my daycare hospitalization at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur.

1. Extra sanitary pads & underwear

2. Sunscreen

4. Reusable tote bag

5. Small towel

6. Phone charger

7. House keys

8. Extra disposable face masks

9. Notebook & pen

10. Mobile phone

 

 So much packing space left.

If you notice in the flatlay photo above, I have 3 smaller bags with striped print. Those are from JuJuBe's Classic Collection - Be Set (Shoreline).

 

 

Speaking of sunscreen, I brought along three different types of sunscreen by Round Lab (bestselling sunscreen brand in South Korea). They are:

 

Birch Moisturizing Sunscreen (tube)
Birch Moisturizing Sun Cushion (compact cushion)
Birch Moisturizing Sun Stick (stick)

You might be asking why did I need to pack sunscreen when I was gonna be indoors? Well, that depends on your belief. Some experts say yes to wearing sunscreen indoors because UV light can penetrate windows. The window glass can block the UVB light (UV burning), but UVA (UV aging) can still make it through to damage your skin even if the sun isn't out.

Bring My Own Lunch to Work

I love bringing my own lunch to work. It's more convenient, somewhat healthier, and I can stay away from the crowd at the staff cafeteria.

Here's how I packed my lunch bag to work.

I will reheat overnight food in the morning and packed them in my trusted Zojirushi food jars to keep them piping hot. Then, I will bring the food jars to work in my Ju-Ju-Be Fuel Cell (it means lunch/cooler bag in Ju-Ju-Be lingo).

The Zojirushi food jars are still functioning really well even after almost 8 years. Last time I used them to pack my sons' lunch at their babysitter's house.

I quite enjoy solo lunch by the window at the pantry because I can have my lunch while binging on whatever I'm watching on Netflix during that one hour of solitude.

Piping hot food is very comforting!

Sometimes, when I don't have time to reheat food in the morning, I will pack the cold overnight food into a glass container.

 

When it's time for lunch, I'll heat up the food in the glass container in the microwave at the pantry.

 

I always sit by an opened window sill because ventilation is important.

What did I pack in my JuJuBe Hello Friends Fuel Cell?

The fuel cell is also huge enough to add in my toddler's Skip Hop water bottle. Sometimes I replace the cloth bibs with Jujube Super Toki Be Neat (bib). I also like to bring out Offspring's travel wet wipes.

Packing My JuJuBe Bags (Part 1)

Motherhood is an awesome journey! There are many "rabbit holes" to jump into and they are cleverly disguised as stress buster and confidence booster. Fellow rabbit-hole-jumping-moms will agree with me. I was in the "rabbit holes" of babywearing and cloth diapering for about a year, i.e. I've bought quite a number of ringslings, wraps, and cloth diapers. About two months ago, I managed to claw my way out but I accidentally dropped, I mean jumped into another new hole called JuJuBe.

This blog post is all about my JuJuBe bags. This is part 1 and it focuses on what I've packed for our 3D2N trip to Genting Highlands a few weeks ago.

Here's my baby and he's always attracted to the Sweet Victory print bags, my very first JuJuBes!

I agree with my baby. Sweet Victory is indeed very sweet when I put all bags of the same print together. See photo below for my Sweet Victory collection: Be Light (tote bag), Be Spendy (zip-around wallet), Fuel Cell (insulated bag), and Be Quick (large wristlet/purse).

On 1 July 2017, I attended Malaysia's very first JuJuBe Tea Party (Trunk Show) in conjunction with the global launch of their latest Tokidoki collaboration print, Sea Punk. See photos below.

I looped the Be Quick's strap to my Be Light so that it won't be easily stolen.
