Sunday "lunch on fire" ^^

I posted about Fireman BBQ Restaurant before. That was because my first visit to Fireman at Jaya One, PJ with two colleagues was satisfying - good food, entertaining "playing-with-fire" performance (unexpected, I didn't know about this at that time), and a RM30 voucher for the next visit.

So, the voucher was spent on a Sunday noon - 2nd visit with some of my church sisters.

Errr.... this blurry picture shows one part of the famous "Fireman Parade" - loads of cabbage (underneath the seafood), cuttlefish, mussels (only 2), prawns, fish slices, "crab" sticks (you know, those frozen red-n-white sticks), and the long-n-springy fish dunno-what-u-call-it.

This is "Fireman Parade" part two - loads of cabbage again (underneath the meat), beef slices, and pork slices (with white sponge-like layers). Actually, this plate should also consist of pork liver and small intestines. But then, we all weren't so keen to put those into our mouth. So, we asked for pork slices as substitute.

Cooking up a storm on this quiant, little grill-plate-cum-steamboat thingy. Couldn't find a better and more appropriate term. :S

We were lucky enough to catch the Fireman icon in action at 2pm. I thought there shouldn't be any performance in the afternoon. It was then I saw the "fireman" strolling towards us (we were sitting directly in front of the stage!). Oh-uh. My seat was the nearest to the stage. :S

I changed my seat immediately! Lucky me. In fact, one of us (the next one nearest to the stage) was invited to perform "live" on stage! She was so daring ohhh... Ahaha... Due to privacy reasons, I won't upload the photos here. But then, those on my Facebook friends list shall be able to view them. :P

I would still say that dining experience at this restaurant is good. Better still if you could come in groups of 4-6. More than 6 would be a little too cramp. The set meal portion might not be satisfying for big-eaters. But then, the most important thing is the get-togetherness and the atmosphere. Don't worry about the price because for the price you pay, you are in fact eating healthier food compared to what you get at Western-style diners. :D

Ironically, I will be bringing my sister to Chili's tomorrow evening for her birthday dinner. :D
