What's Windows 7 Malaysia?

I like NEW things, especially those that challenge me intellectually. So, I spent some time reading up what's so BIG DEAL about Microsoft Windows 7. I'm not a techie, definitely, and until today, geeky and complicated technical jargons and their mumbo-and-jumbo still "haunt" me... :P

My laptop is still running on Windows XP. It
seems that I might have the chance to get it upgraded to Windows 7, the latest OS from Microsoft.

Okay, let me go straight to the point.

  15. hmm.. that's right.. But i've got some negative destructive comments about windows 7. really annoy me..

  16. Sophos, such as?

    Mind to list them down?

  17. Hmm.. Currently the one I can think of right now is the windows photo viewer. Remember in XP where we can view .gif format using windows photo viewer. But now in W7, we can only see the first frame of the moving gif file: the picture won't animate. I so had to trouble myself by opening the gif file with either IE or quicktime or something.

And you know what? Some people some where in the net commented that W7 actually allow us to open gif file with its windows photo viewer, just that we can't see it animate. WHAT?! Windows is supposed to improve, not to downgrade itself. What's the point of not allowing us to view the animated gif file with windows photo viewer?

Got problem now with me izit? lols, forget this last paragraph. hahaha.

Read this. I so agree with the last guy who commented. http://www.windows7taskforce.com/view/1579

  18. Oh, am not a fan of animated .gif, so I didn't realize this. Oh, if this is the case, I need to raise something up (work-related).

    10x!

  19. well.. I didn't know until I somehow browse my gif files. Well, the recent WLM allow us to put animated gif files as our display picture.. so.. lols
