Bunny New Year Reunion Dinner (2 Feb 2011)

Bunny New Year (2011) Reunion Dinner was spent with David's family members and relatives at Kuala Terengganu. I'm impressed with their buffet-style reunion dinner as it's something different from what I've been having since young.

David's parents prepared all the necessary dishes earlier than usual because I need to go to the airport at 7:30pm. I'm truly touched and grateful. Thanks uncle, auntie!

Separate steamboat pots of tom yum and clear soup, a whole platter of duck, and pork in vinegar.

This is a special dish prepared with chicken liver bits, green peas, long beans, water chestnut, and peanuts.

To enjoy this dish, take a spoonful of the mixed ingredients, wrap them with fresh lettuce and eat.

This is crab cake - crab meat, pork, and other ingredients.

This is my favorite station - homemade ais kacang.
There's a mini ice grinder, six bowls of condiments - red kidney beans, leong fun, attap seeds, pineapple cubes, nata de coco, and sweet corn. Drizzle your homemade ais kacang with gula melaka, evaporated milk, and syrup to sweeten it according to your preferred taste.

Shaved ice!

My bowl of ais kacang. :)

My first (and perhaps the last) lou sang of the Bunny Year. :)
