According to its menu book, Belanga's owner is a Kelantanese lady. Belanga offers a variety of authentic Kelantanese dishes, i.e. Nasi Tumpang, Nasi Dagang, Nasi Kerabu, Laksam, etc.
I agreed with what David said after we've paid the bills and left the outlet. Prices charged for their main dishes are considered a tad too expensive. I believe, if you're having the same dishes in Kelantan or Terengganu, the price difference would be rather significant. Nevertheless, I decided to give Belanga a try, just for fun. :P

The fragrant rice has a greenish tone that might have derived from pandan juice used to cook the rice. The beef chunks are succulent. However, it's rather pricey at RM12.90 for such a normal portion, not the usual price that we pay for nasi lemak.
