Wow.That's the expression after watching Valkyrie, a 2008 historical thriller film, depicting the 1944 plot by German army officers to assassinate Adolf Hitler, the Führer of Germany. I didn't know there are conspiracies among the Germans themselves to wipe Hitler out from the face of this earth during WWII. Now, that's interesting.
Tom Cruise stars as Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, one of the key plotters. The film title, Valkyrie denotes Operation Valkyrie (Walküre), Germany's national emergency plan circa the 1940s.
Overall, this film captured the spirit of the conspirators in a positive way without fueling too much hatred towards Hitler. No scenes of concentration camp or gas chambers, only army officers and more army officers, and the "Hail Hitler!" salute. I can't recognize the Gestapo and SS officers though.
Well, I guess assassinations won't happen in Malaysia despite the embroiled situation in certain states. You know who should be assassinated? LOL.
