Bye 2009! Hello 2010!

Recapping 2009, ending it with a bang, starting 2010 with a blast! :D

Personal

1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
Attending SIBKL church service & cell.

2. Did you keep your new year resolutions and will you make more for next year?
I don't make new year resolutions and I don't think I'll purposely make any. :)

3. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
A balanced life between being a Christian at work, daily living, and in church.

4. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Can't remember the exact date but I'd say it's Q4 of 2009 (Oct-Dec), the rewarding timespan for me spiritually - repentance, refreshing, revival, restoration.

5. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Diversifying my career portfolio by not limiting myself to project management but also getting involved in social media / online marketing bit by bit.

6. What was your biggest failure?
I can't recall because I don't dwell on failures too long.

7. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Food poisoning after attending Tenji Buffet on 30 December 2009. :(

8. Compared to this time last year, are you:
Happier or sadder? Happier! :D
Thinner or fatter? Slimmer! Haha! :D
Richer or poorer? More or less the same. :D

9. What do you wish you'd done more or less of?
Done more: Being more generous in more aspects in life.
Done less: Being emotional and ultra-sensitive.

10. What did you want and get?
Coming back to the Lord and His church.

11. What did you want and not get?
Errr... It's okay. 2010 is coming! :D

12. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009.
For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts higher than your thoughts. ~Isaiah 55:8-9, God.

People-to-People

13. Did anyone close to you give birth or pass away?
Nope, thank God.

14. Whose behavior merited celebration?
People who are showing improvement in their life in any aspect.

15. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Not pointing fingers at whosoever, but egomaniacs who are super defensive for whatsoever reasons do get on my nerves, sometimes. LOL.

16. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I'm a peacemaker and I don't make enemies. I don't hate people long enough. So, nope.

17. Who was the best new person(s) you met?
I'd say Friends (1 & 2) cell members of SIBKL & many new Tweeples (friends met via Twitter)! It'll take ages for me to list all of you here! :D

Interests

18. What was the best book(s) you read?
Mitch Albom's Tuesdays with Morrie & Have a Little Faith.

19. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year?
I look to you
I look to you
After all my strength is gone
In you I can be strong

I look to you
I look to you
And when melodies are gone
In you I hear a song
I look to you

Whitney Houston's "I Look To You".

20. What were your favourite films of this year?
It's here - My 2009 Movie List. Have fun reading!
