Road trip 3: YATI Ayam Percik, Kota Bharu


If you go to Kota Bharu, Kelantan for Nasi Kerabu and Ayam Percik, go to YATI Ayam Percik at Jalan Long Yunus.



Feasting is always awesome with family members and relatives!



Nasi Kerabu 

This is not the type of nasi kerabu that comes with blue-colored rice. YATI serves normal white rice for their nasi kerabu. I love the raw herbs, the more the better, especially the slices of fragrant bunga kantan and chopped basil leaves.



Chicken Liver & Gizzard with Percik Sauce

This is one the must-have dishes. Sinfully delicious!



Chicken Wings with Percik Sauce

The restaurant ran out of chicken thighs and breasts by the time we arrived. So, we had to accept chicken wings. The percik sauce was too sweet for me though.



Solok Lada & Salted Eggs

Solok Lada is similar to Chinese Yong Tau Foo. Don't underestimate those pale green chilies; they are very, very pungent! The best part is the chunk of spicy fish paste in the chili. Yummy! 

By the time I finished eating half a chili, I have already downed a glass of iced lime juice.



Daging Bakar (Roast Beef)

You must remember to order these too!
