2nd Visit: The Long Table (Penang Nyonya Cuisine) @ SS7/19, Kelana Jaya

The Long Table (Penang Nyonya Cuisine)
Block D-02-1, D-03-1, Plaza Glomac, Jalan SS7/19, Kelana Jaya, 47301 Petaling Jaya

Note: Plaza Glomac is the block of shoplots beside Sterling Condominium. To find The Long Table, you need to turn into the row of shops and look for the second row.

Wanna know what I've ordered for my dinner during my first visit to this restaurant? Here's the post.

Roti Babi
The name may sound a little bit crude but Roti Babi is actually deep fried sandwiches with generous pork and mixed vegetables filling. Served in six bite-sized portions and an accompanying saucer of delightful, tangy sauce, you'll find this dish a lip-smacking appetizer. Delicious!

Nasi Ulam
I give Nasi Ulam a try because I think it resembles Nasi Kerabu from the east-coast. True enough, Nasi Ulam turns out to be a fantastic choice! I love the fragrant combination of white rice, lemongrass, raw onion slices, and other herbs that I can't identify. Refreshing and healthy, this dish is definitely a good choice for those who are watching their weight. :)

Chinese Fried Rice
Simple yet delicious, this dish reminds me of my late dad's fried rice. It tastes really good with chicken, egg, and mixed vegetables. Topped with red and green chili slices and spring onion, this colorful dish looks even more inviting. However, if you love your fried rice with seafood, try Nyonya Fried Rice. It's cooked with loads of dried prawns and other seafood.

Oh, and I just found out that this restaurant also offers student sets for students. Lunch crowd at The Long Table is pretty good. If you wish to have quiet moments, try visiting this restaurant during tea or dinner time. Don't worry about parking, there are enough parking spaces around the shoplots.

Overall, I highly recommend The Long Table if you happen to look for good food in the vicinity of Plaza Glomac, Sterling Condominium, and Kelana Centerpoint in SS7/19.
