When November begins...

It's November! The little boy is now 14.5 months young. My recent mantra is "Keep calm and call daddy". Daddy here means the hubby, the boy's daddy. Hahaha.

The past one week was insanely hectic. I was (still am) chasing deadlines at work and adjusting to the little boy's increasing mobility (he started to gain more confidence with his sturdy little legs). These alone left me with no time to cook, bake, and blog.

Also, we were away for the weekend. The little one behaved very well on the flight. He slept through the entire one-hour journey and didn't fuss during take-off and landing. We took the weekend off and had a wonderful time at my in-laws' house. The little one saw the staircase and had the time of his life climbing up the entire flight at his very first attempt (there's no staircase in our own house). That sort of scared the guts out of me, I didn't expect him to be this bold.

I just wanna talk about this photo. These are the little one's all-time favorite snacks - 'O' cereals and HappyPuff's vege puffs. I'd want to bake some homemade pretzel bites, bread sticks, and biscuits for him soon. Oh time, please come to me!

About cooking and baking, my younger sister's birthday is coming soon and I've made plans to cook dinner for her. She wants Korean dishes and I've shortlisted not one, but three dishes! Hope they will turn out good. I can't wait to do groceries shopping soon!

I've also bookmarked some Bobby Flay's recipes to join Cook Like A Star's November blog hop and Diana Henry's recipes to join this week's Stock Your Exotic Pantry! blog hop. November looks good so far!

Stay tuned for upcoming yummies-in-my-tummies posts!
