Okay. Let's make this quick! ;)

Marley & Me (EN)
Release Date: 5 March 2009 @ GSC
Cast: Owen Wilson, Jennifer Aniston
Synopsis: The heartwarming and unforgettable story of a family in the making and the wondrously neurotic dog (Marley) who taught them what really matters in life.
Why Must Watch: C'mon! There's t
his cute Yellow Labrador Retriever and Jennifer Aniston!

Update: Watched - 7 March 2009. Wellllll..... Since this is not a fictional movie, I'm kinda mesmerized by the difference between family life and single hood. Each one has its good days and bad days. It really depends on our sense of value. No one can teach us, when the time comes, it comes.....

The Reader (EN)
Release Date: 5 March 2009 @ G
SC
Cast: Ralph Fiennes, Kate Winslet
Synopsis: The story opens in post-WWII Germany when teenager Michael Berg becomes ill and is helped home by Hanna, a stranger twice his age. Michael recovers from scarlet fever and seeks out Hanna to thank her. The two are quickly drawn into a passionate but secretive affair. Despite their inte
nse bond, Hanna mysteriously disappears one day and Michael is left confused and heartbroken. Eight years later, while Michael is a law student observing the Nazi war crime trials, he is stunned to find Hanna back in his life - this time as a defendant in the courtroom. As Hanna's past is revealed, Michael uncovers a deep secret that will impact both of their lives.
Why Must Watch: Kate Winslet won Oscars' "Best Actress" for her role in this movie.

Update: Swapped with Slumdog Millionaire. Watched on 21 March 2009. It won Best Motion Picture of The Year @ The Oscars.

Know1ng (EN)
Release Date: 26 March 2009 @ GSC
Cast: Nicholas Cage, Rose Byrne
Synopsis:
A gripping supernatural thriller of a father who finds a time capsule in his son's school that predicts the end of the world and discovers their direct connection to it.
Why Must Watch: I've watched its trailer and YES, I believe, this movie should be watched. ;)

Update: Watched. Errr... The CGI-ed scenes were great. BUT the storyline is distorting the genuine teachings from the Bible. So, I don't like this movie, truthfully speaking. In fact, I was quite disappointed.

The Unborn (EN)
Release Date: 26 March 2009 @ GSC

Cast: Gary Oldman, Odette Yustman
Synopsis: Casey Bell (Odette Yustman) hated her mother for leaving her as a child. But when inexplicable things start to happen, Casey begins to understand why she left. Plagued by merciless dreams and a tortur
ed ghost that haunts her waking hours, she must turn to the only spiritual adviser, Sendak (Gary Oldman), who can make it stop.
Why Must Wa
tch: Three reasons: Its tagline: "He wants to be born now". Its producer: Michael Bay (Yes, Transformers' Michael Bay!). Its website: Click on the link I provided and get scared to pieces. I warn you.

Update: Watched! Saw the resemblance between Megan Fox and Odette Yustman!

Shinjuku Incident (MD & JAP)
Release Date: 2 April 2009 @ GSC
Cast: Jackie Chan, Daniel Wu, Xu Jinglei, Fan Bing Bing, Naota Takenaka

Synopsis: In the early 1990’s, a tractor mechanic from China nicknamed Steelhead enters illegally into Japan to search for his girlfriend Xiu Xiu. To make ends meet, he joins his friend, Jie, in Shinjuku in doing menial labor. Steelhead finds out that Xiu Xiu has married Eguchi, a Japanese Yakuza leader. Steelhead decides to stay on in Japan and to obtain citizenship, he agrees to work for Eguchi as a killer. Soon, Steelhead gets used to the power and finds himself embroiled so deeply in the ways of the underworld that there is no turning back.....
Why Must Watch: Its trailer is very impressive. Also, the cast - Hong Kong, China, Japanese. What more is there to ask?

Update: Watched! It's good NOT to see Jackie Chan fighting crazy choreographed action sequences. It's good to see him acting as a normal person. :)

Queens of Langkasuka (TH)
Release Date: 9 April 2009 @ GSC
Cast: Soraphong Chatree, Jarunee Suksawat, Ananda Everingham
Synopsis: Malay Peninsula, some 400 years ago, the King of Langkasuka, was assassinated and the royal family had no choice but to promote Princess Hijau to the throne as the first ruling Queen of the kingdom. Hijau and her two sisters, Biro and Ungu, tried their best to protect their rich kingdom from the traitors, threatening pirates and other powers in the region. When their efforts to acquire powerful cannon from a Dutch weapon master turned disastrous with the cannon fell into the pirates' possession, the three sisters found their existence more vulnerable than ever.
Why Must Watch: Epic war movies with action and fantasy as core elements are always awesome to watch. :)

Coming Soon (TH)
Release Date: 16 April 2009 @ GSC
Cast: Chantavit Dhanasevi, Vorakan Rojchanawat
Synopsis: What scenes in a horror film scares you the most? When a ghost appears unexpectedly? When the main character does not see the ghost behind him? When at the very end you find out that the main character was actually a ghost all along? None of these can be compared to the feeling of arriving home alone and being struck by deja vu that you are reenacting the very same scenes in the horror movie you just watched.....
Why Must Watch: Another collection to my favorite movie genre!

Update: Watched! Errr..... You shall meet an oh-not-so-friendly ghost that shouts, "You like to see me die?" and ends up gouging people's eyes out. Oh well...

The Uninvited (EN)
Release Date: 23 April 2009 @ GSC
Cast: Elizabeth Banks, Arielle Kebbel, David Strathairn, Emily Browning
Synopsis: Anna and Alex Rydell return home after a stint in a mental hospital, though their recovery is jeopardized thanks to their cruel stepmother, aloof father, and the presence of a ghost in their home.
Why Must Watch: It's a remake of Korea's "The Tale of Two Sisters", a very high quality horror/psychological thriller.

Update: Watched! Yes, this remake is quite good, shot within 1.5 hours, it didn't drag on like the Korean version. So, you won't get bored too easily.
