I was clearing my mailboxes (hotmail & yahoo) when I stumbled across 21 somewhat poignant points. Thought of archiving them here so that I could clear off useless chain emails... you know, those forwarded emails that are forwarded as long as there are "thoughtful" people who forwarded them to you... Haha...
Note: Sentences in italics are my responses.
ONE. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully. [This is scriptural. Agree!]
TWO. Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other. [Yeap, love wears off sooner or later but the ability to talk & listen to one another is priceless.]
THREE. Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want. [Agree with the first half, but won't agree with the second half for as long as I live.]
FOUR. When you say, "I love you," mean it. [Of course la! If not, say for fun meh? Haiyor...]
FIVE. When you say, "I'm sorry," look the person in the eye. [Did that before... kinda embarassing but feel good after that.]

SEVEN. Believe in love at first sight. [Nope.]
EIGHT. Never laugh at anyone's dream. People who don't have dreams don't have much. [Hmmm... very true indeed.]

TWELVE. Talk slowly but think quickly. [Yeap, especially when I try to cover up something. Hehehe...]
THIRTEEN. When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, "Why do you want to know?" [I always do this sarcastically. It works. The busybodies will be put off.]
FOURTEEN. Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk. [Oooh la la...]
FIFTEEN. Say "bless you" when you hear someone sneeze. [Why should I?]
SIXTEEN. When you lose, don't lose the lesson. [OK.]
SEVENTEEN. Remember the three R's: Respect for self; Respect for others; and Responsibility for all your actions. [Yes, sir!]
EIGHTEEN. Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship. [Too bad, this is gonna be for me to learn in my whole life, unless I got brain injury or something and my personality is totality turned inside-out.]
NINETEEN. When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it. [Yeah, vindicating myself seems to be part of my job.]
TWENTY. Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice. [Is it? People won't think you are talking to your lover ar?]
TWENTY-ONE. Spend some time alone. [Pamper myself first. Then, pamper others with quality time. Selfish? No la...]
