[Friday-15] Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian

When the lights go off, the battle is on!

Oh my! Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian will crack you up if you love movies with tonnes of humor, not those slapstick humor though. :D Watching this movie was like riding a roller coaster while journeying through time to witness humorous (not tense at all!) 'battle' between the good and the evil at the Smithsonian Institution. (Wow! How I wish I could visit this place someday!)

Screenshots below are produced from here.

Amy Adams as Amelia Earhart - a feisty, adventure-loving lady who's pretty straightforward with her thoughts and actions. I'm quite impressed with her, especially during the scene whereby she enlightened Larry Daley (the main figure of the movie) unintentionally about why was he running a business of which he himself was not excited about. What she did changed Larry's life.

Hank Azaria as Kahmunrah - a rather humorous ancient Pharaoh who failed to instill any fear in his opponents. Muahahaha! I love the scene where the giant stone figure of Abraham Lincoln shooed Kahmunrah's 'magical' bird-man army back to their dark world. Oh my gawd... That was hilarious! See the screenshot below.

Here's Kahmunrah's ally - a rather unusual assembly of Ivan the Terrible (or Awesome, a Russian), Al Capone (an Italian-American gangster), and Napolean Bonaparte (a French). Abraham Lincoln told Larry by quoting Matthew 12:25, "Every kingdom divided against itself becomes desolate, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand." That's how this good-for-nothing-but-hungry-for-power ally fell. Interesting.

Ahhh... Albert Einstein - cute little bobbleheads bobbing on the table while repeating 3.14159265 again and again at lightning speed, much to my amusement!

Overall, this is a GREAT weekend movie that you just have to watch!!! Till then people, have a great weekend ahead!

Follow my updates on my Must-Watch Movie List (May-Aug 2009). ^^
