LAMMEEYA @ Empire Shopping Gallery, Subang Jaya

You might be wondering what does LAMMEEYA mean. The name of the restaurant simply means The House of Lam Mee. I've been to an older outlet in One Utama. This time, it's time to visit the outlet at LG31, Empire Shopping Gallery at Subang Jaya.

Note: Check out their blog. Good thing the blog's still pretty active.

This outlet is significantly bigger than the one at One Utama. The lunch crowd on a Saturday is pretty good.

Ginger Tea or Teh Halia
Actually, it's Ginger Milk Tea, one of my favorite beverages of all time. Best drank while it's steaming hot and I really love the slightly prickly gingery feel down my throat whenever I sip the tea bit by bit.

Char Siew Bun
Char Siew Bun tastes pretty good when it's eaten piping hot and while the bread is soft and fluffy. The portion of its filling, although not too satisfying for a few mouthfuls, is still pretty flavorful. While waiting for your main dishes to arrive at your dining table, Char Siew Bun serves as a good appetizer.

Now let's see what we have for lunch.

Dry Chicken Hor Fun

Mushroom Lam Mee

LAMMEEYA serves standard Chinese noodle dishes and some other mainstream Chinese dishes, e.g. Pork Trotters in Vinegar, Lotus Root soup, stir-fry vegetables, etc. Apart from milk teas and bubble teas, their beverages also include an extensive choice of fresh fruit juices.

I'd heartily say that its service is good, price range is considerably affordable, and it's a good choice of restaurant for family dinners.
