I haven't been to Jaya 33 (Section 14, Petaling Jaya) for almost three years. The last time I was there, I could only find edibles at Subway and Coffee Bean.
This time round, I'm quite surprised to find a nice and quiet place to dine with David and another couple. This restaurant is known as Shyet-Li's Kopitiam.

Pretty and colorful like a rainbow, this huge bowl of shaved ice dessert/appetizer looks very good and pleasing to both eyes and taste buds.
Served with carrots, broccoli, and potato chips.

If you love your daily consumption of nasi lemak, you'll love it with beef rendang too.
Truly Malaysian, as unique as its name sounds, is an interesting rice dish -- fragrant rice served with chicken thigh cooked in thick, sourish tomato gravy, mango salad (kerabu mangga), and fried crackers.
