Explorer, Builder, Director, Negotiator (Part 1)

Original Article: Take Dr Helen Fisher's Why Him/Why Her Personality Test for Love
Anthropologist and author Helen Fisher identifies how four of the most dominant chemicals in the human body, i.e. the sex hormones -- testosterone and estrogen, and neurotransmitters -- dopamine and serotonin, create profiles of four distinct personality types: the Explorer, the Builder, the Director, and the Negotiator.

In a nutshell:

1. The Explorer: High dopamine activity, adventurous, novelty-seeking, and creative.

2. The Builder: High serotonin activity, cautious, conventional, and managerial.

3. The Director: Pumped with testosterone, aggressive, single-minded, and analytical.

4. The Negotiator: More estrogen-influenced, empathetic, idealistic, and a big-picture thinker.
